Our story

SIDA AutoSoft Multimedia has been the Italian leader in the didactic services and products’ sector for licenses and driving schools for 35 years.

It was born in 1986 by realizing the first software in Italy for computerised quizzes for driving licences.

In 1999 it registered the domain www.patente.it creating the first information portal for driving schools and professional operators in the road haulage sector.

In 2004 it became a publishing house, specializing in manuals and handbooks for the achievements of driving licenses.

In 2012 it became the exclusive distributor for Italy of driving simulators for heavy vehicles and for B driving licenses.

In 2014 it won the tender for the supply of a cab driving simulator for heavy vehicles, for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Palermo.

In 2016 the SIDA DRIVE’s design starts

In 2018 it proceeds with the project’s development

Autumn 2019 – market launch of SIDA DRIVE 360°.
